Stuttering treatment program, which uses sound recognition technology to achieve natural-sounding, stutter-free speech, suitable for adults and teens with chronic conditions.
The MPI( Modifying Phonation Intervals) stuttering treatment program aims to cope with speech disorders affecting teenagers and adults. Owing to the extensive research and studies of Professor Dr. Roger J. Ingham and his colleagues, now is possible to achieve durable and natural-sounding fluent speech in most patients, who meet selection criteria.
The therapy includes using a mobile app called MPI-2, designated to complement the MPI Stuttering Treatment Program. The MPI treatment schedule is split into four phases - Pre-treatment, Establishment, Transfer, and Maintenance. Each stage of the therapy has to be managed jointly by the client and the clinician. After completion of the treatment, most clients enjoy the natural-sounding stammering-free speech.
