GraphDB

Add semantic power to your data for insights, decisions and actions

Description

Holistic 360-degree view of information from different sources

GraphDB is an enterprise-ready semantic graph database, compliant with W3C Standards. The modern organizations use GraphDB to link data from different sources, then index it for semantic search and enrich this information by using text analysis in order to build big knowledge graphs.

Link your business data into a knowledge graph

GraphDB is a fully-functional semantic graph database (RDF Triplestore). It stores your business data in a unified whole, also known as a knowledge graph. You can use the platform to build information structures with a high level of detail to get granular analysis. With GraphDB, you streamline the load and use of linked data cloud datasets as well as your proprietary resources.

Perform semantic inferencing at scale

GraphDB is one of the few triple stores that can perform semantic inferencing at scale, allowing users to derive new semantic facts from existing facts. It handles massive loads, queries and inferencing in real-time.

GraphDB supports a highly available replication cluster, which has been proven in a number of enterprise use cases that required resilience during data loading and query answering. ‌‌

Business Benefits

Automate and enrich any knowledge work

GraphDB can serve you to build a cognitive layer over your legacy systems and thus automate and enhance any knowledge work or operations related to managing information assets.

With GraphDB, you can:

  • Develop your own knowledge graph as input for advanced analytics or AI algorithms.
  • Perform a complex semantic search with powerful software connectors to improve discoverability.
  • Manage massive metadata, linking large volumes of content to comprehensive reference data.
  • Deliver excellent semantic data integration and reconciliation quality.
  • Efficiently integrate internal and external data sources.

Turn data into valuable insights

GraphDB helps you handle huge amounts of data and thus improve the way your organization works with knowledge. Not only you can access your information faster and cheaper but the connections between different business entities are automatically detected and interlinked.

GraphDB across industries

GraphDB is designed to provide a universal, yet highly-customizable, framework to a wide range of industry-specific challenges, including:

  • Content packaging and reuse.
  • Company profiling and research.
  • Adverse Media Monitoring.
  • Policy Management.
  • Fraud Detection.
  • Discovery in drug clinical trials.
  • Analytics in patient records. ‌‌

Technology

The technologies behind GraphDB

GraphDB offers visual data access and powerful exploration tools, along with an easy set up with one-click installation. For compatibility with the industry standards, GraphDB implements the RDF4J framework interfaces, the W3C SPARQL Protocol specification and supports all RDF serialization formats.

‌The semantic database is the preferred choice of both small independent developers and big enterprise organizations, because of its community and commercial support, excellent enterprise features, such as cluster support and integration with external high-performance search applications such as Lucene, SOLR, and Elasticsearch.

Data Reconciliation

Through an interactive tool called OntoRefine, parse structured data in CSV, XLS, JSON, XML or other formats, clean it and reconcile input datasets to knowledge graphs, generate RDF data and store it in a local or remote SPARQL endpoint. Automate the process and repeat in batch mode. ‌‌

Ontology Visualizations

‌Visual graphs enable you to navigate the data stored in GraphDB and create multiple graph views. The powerful interface allows you to filter abstract resources, select only specific ontology properties, generate new relationships on the fly and sort the results with the RDF Rank algorithm. The Class Relationships diagram improves your understanding of the dataset structure by analyzing the RDF resource connections. ‌‌‌

Highly available replication cluster

‌GraphDB offers you a high-performance cluster proven to scale in production environments. It supports coordinating all read and write operations, ensuring that all worker nodes are synchronized, propagating updates (insert and delete tasks) across all workers and checking updates for inconsistencies, load balancing read requests between all available worker nodes, automatic cluster reconfiguration in the event of failure of one or more worker nodes, a smart client supporting multiple endpoints . ‌

Build a knowledge graph of your own and turn data into insights.
