Project Scope

The project focused on designing and implementing a unified logistics platform that covered all critical business domains. DESY was built to support Marketing, User Management, Logistics Network management, Call Centre operations, Dispatch, Financial Operations, and Online Logistics in a single, integrated environment.

Speedy selected Sirma for its proven experience in building mission-critical, high-volume transactional systems and its ability to design platforms aligned with international logistics standards. Sirma’s expertise in modern web and mobile architectures enabled Speedy to reduce transformation risk while ensuring the new system could scale with DPD network requirements and evolving customer expectations.

Deep barcode reader integration was implemented across the network to support fast, accurate parcel handling at every touchpoint, from pickup and sorting to last-mile delivery.
