Bulstrad Life’s mobile insurance app (B-Assist) and D Bank’s banking management app (DMobile), developed in collaboration with Sirma’s team, secured five prestigious awards at the inaugural b2b Media NEXT DiFi Awards for Financial Innovations. The annual NEXT DiFi Awards strongly emphasised financial innovation for the first time. They spotlighted the fastest-growing companies in the industry – banks, insurance institutions, non-bank financial institutions, and international fintech companies.
B-ASSIST mobile insurance app by Bulstrad Life Vienna Insurance Group
B-Assist, a mobile app designed for Bulstrad Life’s customers, offers a wide range of services, including appointment booking, examination confirmation, insurance inquiries, and online reimbursement of medical expenses. The app’s user-friendly interface and comprehensive features have made it popular among Bulstrad Life customers.
Bulstrad Life was honoured with three awards for its innovative mobile application, B-Assist:
- 1st place in the “Most Innovative Insurance Company” category
- two 2nd places - in the “Innovation in the Insurance Sector” category and the “Customer Experience” category
Sirma’s InsurTech team, led by Yulian Masliankov, VP of Insurance Services, was pivotal in developing Bulstrad Life’s B-Assist mobile app. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in creating a product that has transformed how people interact with their insurance provider.
DMobile mobile banking app by D Commerce Bank
DMobile app helps users enjoy innovative Multibanking services built on the principles of Open Banking. The app showcases a user-centric design and intuitive interface, and the jury apprised the innovations and granted the following accolades:
- 1st place in the “Innovation in Mobile Banking” category.
- 3rd place in the “Customer Experience” category.

In 2024, b2b Media expanded its initiative by introducing the inaugural Financial Innovation Awards, building on the success of the popular international financial forum NEXT DiFi.
